Location/Division Specific Information

Based in Carlsbad, CA supporting key strategic business segments in the Cellular Biology business unit within the Biosciences division, a key profit driver and growth business for the company!

How will you make an impact?

The Sr. Financial Analyst will drive key operating mechanisms such as forecasting and planning, providing key data insight / foresight, as well as partner with business leaders to develop actions and recommendations to enable the business to achieve its financial objectives. You'll provide financial insights to help drive strategic and tactical decisions in this critically important business.

What will you do?

  • Drive tactical objectives in support of monthly & quarterly business reviews, annual operating plans, and the long-range planning processes
  • Deliver key weekly financial reporting & insight, partnering with key leaders
  • Support new product introductions with accurate financial modeling and oversight
  • Drive alignment with global sales teams regarding commercial forecasts
  • Assist with P&L management including timely execution of project spending
  • Demonstrate FP&A leadership with timely, accurate, and valuable information
  • Partner cross-functionally to drive projects from planning to execution
  • Perform special projects as required

How will you get here?

  • Bachelors degree with significant coursework in finance, accounting, and/or a quantitative field preferred
  • 6-to-8 years experience in finance preferred
  • Certifications including CPA and CFA are a plus

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong business sense
  • Superior attention to detail while moving quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Expert-level Excel skills and working knowledge of IT systems
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas orally and in writing

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $103,100.00-$154,700.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
