Job Description

Position summary:

As the Sr BDM of the EFS Business Segment, you will be responsible for providing sales strategies and tactics to the NA sales teams aiming to develop the EFS market share in NA. Leadership and collaborative attitude will be essential for creating and maintaining an alignment across the division to insure the best customer experience. The incumbent will establish positive relationships with our business units, marketing teams and technical sales specialist organization. Another key objective of the role will be to ensure revenue targets are met and monitor our progress and efficiency.

Job Description

  • Collaborate directly with the KOL and Regulatory manager to gain insights into the current and future technological requirements of the market.
  • Contribute to categorize our KOLs to promote their work and establish an EFS user community
  • Map current EFS market, define addressable market, identify key opportunities and future trends.
  • Develop sales enablement materials and sales tactics to commercialize any new upcoming EFS analytical solutions and stimulate customers' interest
  • Participate in the definition of EFS product strategy, with a focus on cross-divisional teamwork that prioritizes customer needs, portfolio roadmaps, and integration into the Thermo Fisher Scientific value proposition.
  • Partner with our different Marketing teams (regional and divisional) to improve our brand credibility and insure promotion of our new solutions over the EFS markets.
  • Gain alignment on product commercialization with our different field resources (Sales, application and service organizations) for a positive customer experience.
  • Build tools and metrics to analyze market needs, sales and growth opportunities, monitor our progress.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to distil customer requirements, understand driven strengths and weaknesses
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Outstanding communication skills, organizational capabilities, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent understanding of business operations and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborative partner who can positively influence across functional teams in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving targets and driving business growth.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Familiarity with market research and analysis techniques.
  • Willingness to travel, as required

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental and food market, business development
  • In-depth understanding of EFS market, regulations and competitive landscape.
