Job Description

As a Senior PCS Engineer, you will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining our Process Control System (PCS) solutions. You will be responsible for executing tasks related to the PCS solutions, including the implementation and maintenance. We also consider equivalent experience in addition to educational requirements like MES.

  • Collaborating with various departments such as QA, QC, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to ensure coordination and exchange of information for PCS execution
  • Contributing to the development of computerized system documentation for qualification and validation activities
  • Supporting the development, implementation, and testing of complex PCS solutions
  • Assisting users with technical support and resolving issues related to applications
  • Assisting in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) for qualification/validation and routine activities
  • Offering technical support during commissioning, start-up activities and in operations
  • Being part of the automation piquet team for Thermo Fisher Scientific

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Demonstrated success in implementing Process Control System (PCS) solutions, with a strong emphasis on equivalent experience in addition to educational requirements.
  • Knowledge and experience with Siemens Opcenter Execution Pharma is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues rapidly
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
  • The ability to offer technical assistance and training to individuals involved in the project
