Job Description

How will you make an impact?

The Sr Customer Service Representative role at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. offers you an outstanding chance to be part of a dynamic, multi-cultural team.

What will you do?

  • Build, assign, and action tickets in the C4S ticketing system as needed.
  • Document all required information, ensuring work instructions and operating procedures are up to date.
  • Perform invoicing activities, including investigating, finalizing, and sending invoices to customers.
  • Analyze and cross-check data in the ticketing system and SAP, highlighting differences to involved parties.
  • Participate in dispute resolution by updating teams with necessary information.
  • Contribute to customer data maintenance, liaising with the Master Data team on account modification requests.
  • Efficiently handle and resolve blocking issues, critical issues, and customer concerns.
  • Actively participate in ongoing process improvement and standardization to boost efficiency.
  • Build and maintain relationships with field service technicians, sales department, dispatching team, and additional business unit accounts.

How will you get there?

  • A minimum of 1 year's customer service experience is preferred.
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent experience; a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Approach that prioritizes customer needs and effective communication skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy in the workplace.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and multitask under deadlines.
  • Understanding of financial closing dates (Quarter Ends, Year Ends) is an advantage.
  • Demonstrate judgment, tact, and diplomacy in dealing with internal and external customers.
  • Experience with SAP, C4S, and Genesys is preferred but not essential.
