Job Description

Job Title: Senior Demand & Supply Planner

Position Summary:

Responsible for developing and executing demand plan and inventory plans that will enable the company to meet sales and service objectives. Plans the delivery of components to meet production or customer demand. Issue and maintain purchase orders for appropriate quantities. Communicate with suppliers to ensure product quality, delivery and cost requirements are being met. Collaboration with other members of the supply chain, sales, marketing, and customer service teams to achieve these objectives.

  • Closely work with commercial & finance team to understand the revenue target, responsible for demand forecast on all necessary time horizons.
  • Responsible for monitoring and continuously improving on forecast accuracy performance.
  • Lead and optimize SIOP process, actively involved in forecasting process, and responsible for alignment with commercial, finance & global BU teams.
  • Contribute to set initial forecast & replenishment flow and inventory setup for new products during product lifecycle change.
  • Evaluate key plants' supply capacity, understanding main constraints & identifying risks and opportunity, initiating actions to mitigate the gap, and ensure timely support to demand.
  • Monitor and evaluate supply performance, work to improve supplier capability and flexibility.
  • Work out inventory planning to support revenue achievement, including design and regular review replenish strategy, stocking policy & relevant parameters such as safety stock, lot size, MOQ etc. according to different business mode; monitor inventory and slow moving, take actions to improve inventory structure and reduce on E&O.
  • Prepare planning reports, provide insights through data analysis, and drive continuous improvement to improve planning excellence.
  • Support to fulfill customer requests and revenue targets in daily work.
  • Support other related tasks and projects depends on business needs.

Qualifications:

Knowledge or Experience:

  • At least 5 years of supply and demand planning relevant experience in MNC.
  • Office software
  • ERP & MRP system knowledge & Operation
  • Trade compliance and logistic knowledge
  • Practical process improvement or continues improvement relevant experience.
  • Fundamental financial awareness

Capability:

  • Oral & Written English
  • Have a solid understanding of the fundamental concepts and principles of SIOP
  • Excellent Communication skill
  • Strong logical thinking, good at data analysis
  • Good Influence with strong cross-function collaboration
  • Risk management capability
