Senior Commercial Manager, Research & Safety Market Division Singapore

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Sales Manager to join us to lead our Singapore Sales team for Fisher Scientific channel business. As a global leader in scientific research and technology, Thermo Fisher Scientific is dedicated to enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth and meet revenue targets in the Singapore market for Fisher Scientific Channel business.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand customer base and increase market share
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment
  • Develop and nurture strong connections with important customers and individuals
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new business opportunities
  • Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing deals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution of customer projects
  • Collaborate with Self-Manufactured and 3rd party suppliers to provide one-stop-shop value proposition to our customers
  • Build analytics to measure success of sales strategy, coach and measure Salesforce effectiveness KPI as developed for the team
  • Build 5 year Strategic Plan (STRAP) along with the team and execute on it once all approvals in place
  • Share of wallet measurement and expansion for all customers

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in area of Life Sciences or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with 10+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to drive a high-performance sales team
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates a proactive and driven approach to work, with a strong motivation to surpass objectives
  • Ability to compete in a fast-paced and dynamic market
  • Strict attention to detail and ability to determine and address customer needs
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully implement sales strategies and initiatives
