Job Description

The Senior Account Manager BID position is an outstanding opportunity within Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. As part of the commercial organization supporting the LSG Group portfolio, this role offers the chance to work with an extraordinary team and sell the entire Thermo Fisher Scientific's BioSciences Division product portfolio. With the support of our technical sales specialist teams, you will have the resources and mentorship to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works independently on daily activity in accordance with the sales activity plan.
  • Optimally communicate and validate sales contracts with customers. Educate customers on new products and product improvements. Accurately articulate and present product features and benefits.
  • Routinely engage technical sales specialists from the supporting product focused teams and receive specific mentorship from product management in special sales situations.
  • Maintain present customer base while actively developing new process opportunities to build a strong pipeline of projects that will support future growth.
  • Coordinate custom projects by leading internal processes across various BID functional groups to ensure divisional alignment, project accuracy, & execution.
  • Meet sales quota as well as expense targets for the assigned territory.
  • Apply effective sales strategies and proactively seek out sales opportunities and respond to the needs of the customers and potential customers with innovative solutions.
  • Drive growth using effective territory planning and account planning skills.
  • Work closely with sales manager for territory business planning and implementation. Actively communicate customer issues, current prospects and marketing events to management team.
  • Interpret and lead key financial result areas, i.e. revenues, volume, margins, days outstanding and forecasting.
  • Planed, coordinate and handle a sales territory. Actively develop and target new business/sales opportunities within the marketplace. Handle the sales cycle.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Master or Bachelor Major in Life Science;
  • Preferably located in the south part of Poland or Warsaw, Katowice
  • At least 5 + years selling experience in Life Science, Academia or Biotech industry.
  • Good presentation, interpersonal skills, Good English communications in both oral and written.
  • Strong communication to efficiently empower in scientific discussions with customers.
  • Good data analysis and biz planning skills. High energy, teammate. Self-motivated, initiative, open-minded, and diligent
  • The ability to discuss and support product and application requirements across the workflow and engage technical specialists early and often to show the Thermo Fisher capabilities in providing our customers with the best outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills needed to analyze territory sales data and technical information.
  • Demonstrates the Thermo Fisher values (The Four I's) - Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.
  • Experience working with SFDC CRM is favorable.
