General Information

Southeast Asia and Taiwan as a growth engine for the company, has over 3000 employees, supporting 21 divisions /businesses across all functions from commercial to manufacturing, R&D and supply chain.

Reporting to Southeast Asia and Taiwan Finance Senior Director and partnering with Country Commercial Lead, you will provide commercial finance insights, drive sustainable and profitable growth. You will also be responsible improving processes, playing leadership role in change management, developing and implementing business intelligence tools.

Job Description

Position Title: Finance Manager, Commercial Finance

Position Summary:

A critical business partner role reports to Southeast Asia and Taiwan CFO, located in Singapore. Key responsibilities include partnering with commercial leaders and collaborators to drive profitable organic growth through strong commercial execution, manage FP&A process including forecast, monthly and quarterly business review, annual operations plan, long terms strategic plan, opex and resource planning etc. This role also support commercial team in control and compliance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Business Partnering & Commercial Execution

  • Provide financial insights to SEATW commercial leader, based on business understanding and order / backlog /inventory data analysis
  • Work with sales team and drive operational excellence, hold commercial team accountable to deliver commitments
  • Drive long term profitable growth through strategic investments and initiatives
  • Timely implementation of price changes through cross-functional collaboration
  • Be part of sales territory and SIP design process, make sure sales quota is able to support growth commitments.
  • Maintain a strong and results focussed relationship with all levels of management

2) Financial planning & Analysis

  • Proactive calendar planning and meeting arrangements to ensure quality financial deliverables for both division and SEATW. Drive standardization in review formats and cadences to enhance efficiency.
  • Liaison with division and corporate finance team to ensure correct statutory and management financial reporting.
  • Design and drive meaningful discussion in various workstreams not limited to Forecast/Annual Operating Plan/Quarterly and Monthly Business Reviews etc.
  • Have good pulse on business in terms of changes in funnel, open orders and supply which might impact business results.
  • Support daily pricing analytics and escalation process
  • Opex, capex and working capital management
  • Support ad-hoc analysis.

3) Control & Compliance

  • Stay independent and providing professional financial guidance to commercial team in control and compliance related questions/situations.
  • Educate commercial team in financial policies, spot red flags early and keep the team safe from control or compliance issues
  • Be part of channel management process, collaborate with commercial excellent team to keep on driving channel compliance
  • Support CSA and audit process

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Self-motivated, hands-on, detailed and meticulous with strong sense of ownership
  • Advanced data analytical capability with proficient Excel and Power BI skills
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize. Able to work and deliver under pressure.
  • Strong improvement in execution and problem solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and complex matrix organization
  • Possess strong communication skills, comfortable communicating/present with senior leaders
  • People managing experience is preferred.
  • Applied knowledge of Oracle E1, IBM Cognos, scripting is preferred
