Job Description

Are you an experienced sales operations professional looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to making the world healthier, cleaner and safer? Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a Sales Excellence Manager to join our business operations team in Europe. As a Sales Excellence Manager, you will be instrumental in driving sales success and ensuring impeccable execution of our commercial strategies within the immunodiagnostics business.

Responsibilities:

  • Define, develop and implement sales operations strategies and tactics to support achievement of ambitious sales targets including territory and funnel and opportunity management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve commercial outcomes and processes and effectively communicate them with sales colleagues
  • Work across the matrix to coach and motivate the sales team to compete at the highest level and exceed sales goals
  • Analyse market trends, commercial colleague and customer needs to identify ways to improve sales processes, training opportunities, tools and critical metrics
  • Work with sales training and sales managers to deliver exceptional sales training and mentorship to enhance the skills and performance of the sales team
  • Build and nurture strong connections with matrix colleagues across our organization to shape sales excellence, share new ways of working, and improve performance.
  • Monitor and analyse sales data to determine areas for improvement and successfully execute impactful changes
  • Strictly adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the scientific or healthcare industry
  • Experience of CRM system development, adoption and training
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and empower a sales team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to determine effective sales strategies
  • Ability to establish and uphold positive relationships with customers and important individuals involved
  • Proven ability to consistently achieve or surpass sales objectives with a focus on results
  • High level of adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced and challenging sales environment
