Job Summary

To support our sales teams who engage with customers and internal stakeholders, we're looking to add a Sales Excellence Manager located in USA (Remote).

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Corporate Strategy, the Sales Excellence Manager will be part of a growing global Corporate Strategy (CS) team, dedicated to sales excellence. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with team members spanning many functions (sales, marketing, finance, legal, etc.) to positively impact our sales team members productivity and our bottom line.

You will drive the Sales Excellence measurement strategy to demonstrate our impact on the sales organization and their ability to drive successful sales outcomes. You will collaborate with our business unit enablement teams and provide recommendations to optimize sales operations, implement new sales processes, tools, and develop improved enablement capabilities tied to sales routines.

This position requires an individual with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, an ability to think strategically with structured plans to build sustainable and repeatable outcomes. The ability to prepare reporting and presentations for senior management and c-suite audiences is also a key requirement for the role.

What a typical day looks like:
  • Lead the enterprise-wide sales analytics strategy; act as a thought-partner, providing recommendations on enhanced metrics and measurement methodologies for productivity, ROI, engagement, operational efficiencies, data integrity, etc.
  • Conduct detailed research to analyze performance against sales KPIs and the development of insights for escalation to senior leadership; build and maintain intuitive reports and dashboards to inform the sales organization on progress against performance KPIs
  • Establish standardized processes and communication cadence for reporting and partner with business unit stakeholders to ensure utilization and feedback mechanisms are in place for continuous improvement
  • Maintain historical data to demonstrate impact of sales excellence efforts over time
  • Partner with business development and account management teams to identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions; identify process efficiencies within the sales process and methodology, influence change and implement new sales workflows that deliver measurable results.
  • Collaborate with Flex's Business systems technology team to make data easier to access and consume, optimizing our Executive, Sales-People Manager, Business Development, Account Management, and sales enablement experience
  • Provide real time support for Executive data requests, board meetings and quarterly updates
  • Own, manage, and drive strategic programs from inception to delivery while improving process efficiency and effectiveness for large, complex, and thorny projects.
  • Be a trusted advisor to Executive leaders, segment and business unit teams, and functional partners in supporting enablement efforts that deliver bookings for the commercial business.
  • Action-oriented, detailed programmatic approach to implement complex programs and strategic initiatives.
  • Consistently exceeds key performance metrics and Delivers Results.
Skills and experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • 6+ years of relevant experience required (sales operations, enablement, project or program management, reporting & communications)
  • A Master's or MBA degree is preferred
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference to practical situations
  • Ability to communicate with executives, make effective speeches and craft visually appealing presentations on complex sales topics to top management and executives
  • Strong business acumen
  • Understanding of change management principles, PROCII or ACMP Certified preferred
  • Consulting orientation
Desired Technical skills:
  • Substantive experience with Salesforce.com CRM (administrator and/or consultant certification preferred but not required)
  • Deep skill with data visualization and reporting technology; Salesforce Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
  • Knowledge of sales readiness (Mindtickle) and project management (Asana)
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience using statistical and database software; skilled in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, Python, R, SPSS, or SAS to be used for data set analyzing

Pay Range (Applicable to US Remote). Due to this role being remote, the actual pay range will vary depending on the geographical location of the candidate

$100,700.00 USD - $138,400.00 USD Annual
