Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the achievement of annual booking and revenue objectives by growing the presence of our TEA solutions in the defined territory.
  • Develop strategic business development initiatives to accelerate growth in focus markets, collaborating closely with various internal teams and global organizations.
  • Proactively develop new leads, grow the pipeline of opportunities, and target key business areas.
  • Leverage Salesforce.com CRM to effectively run accounts, opportunities, and leads, while monitoring the health of the product line.
  • Strengthen customer-centric approaches, aligning account plans and sales activities with overall business goals.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by regularly meeting with and addressing the needs of key segments.
  • Collaborate with Global BU Product Management to provide valuable market and product-related feedback, giving to the vitality of new product developments.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and enhance the strength of "One Thermo Fisher" by collaborating with other divisions within the company.
  • Drive opportunities through the complete sales cycle, ranging from short-term to long-term engagements.
  • Lead strategic collaborations with key opinion leaders/key accounts and deliver growth impacts from these collaborations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry, or equivalent; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of 7+ years in leading TEA and/or Mass Spectrometry solutions, demonstrating a strong practical and theoretical knowledge of Trace Elemental Analysis applications and workflows.
  • Hands-on experience of 3+ years in TEA, along with 2-3 years of commercial experience.
  • Strong skill-sets of business strategy, business development, or marketing experience plus.
  • Experience in a strategic role working proactively and independently.
  • Willingness to create innovative ways through the collaboration with customers.
  • Outstanding initiative, problem-solving ability, and a sense of ownership when driving projects to completion.
  • Highly self-motivated leader with the ability to lead and prioritize multiple projects optimally.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skill, with the ability to network with external customers.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in Korean and English.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, approximately 50% of the time.
