We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven MEP Product Specialist to join our fantastic team. Responsibilities include performing product demonstrations to staff and clients, delivering training engagements, gathering feedback, and offering recommendations to the team. You will also be tasked with strategizing with the team about client relationships, as well as assisting with presales activities.
To be successful as a product specialist, you must have a passion for the technology suite you work with and a drive for product knowledge expansion. Outstanding product specialists should have a keen eye for spotting opportunities, a willingness to inspire clients, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.

Product Specialist Responsibilities:
Presales, Onboarding and Adoption
  • Play a key role in pre-sales activities such as, product demonstrations, discoveries and product value positioning.
  • Performing product demonstrations for customers, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Making clear and concise presentations to discuss product details and feature updates with client or prospect
  • Develop and execute product training sessions to expand product competence within an organization
  • Creating training materials outlining instructions on how to use a Symetri products
  • Developing user guides or manuals that outline best practices for using Symetri products
  • Collaborate with Symetri Tech resources on direct product feedback to better the product
  • Attend and guide client facing office hours to assist with adoption and long-term success
  • Able to identify client technology challenges and align Symetri software to solve remedy them
Collaboration and Strategy
  • Play a role in how to promote a new product within the company
  • Collaborate and strategize with the sales and customer success teams.
  • Identify and recruit new client opportunities
  • Identify new market opportunities and relay this information to internal stakeholders.
  • Work with Client Success Manager to help collect information on how well existing products are working within the market
  • Work with Program Manager to identify customer-service issues to improve the product for future customers
  • Works with CSM/CEM and sales team to ensure clients satisfaction and renewal of the software
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop case studies, customer testimonials and marketing content
Support
  • Serve as a product expert and escalation person for our technical support team regarding client technical support challenges
  • Formulate and send an e-mail to clarify the issues and concerns of the customer
  • Answering all product-related questions in a polite and prompt manner.
  • Work with customers and team members to troubleshoot a product or service issue
Product Specialist Skill Requirements
  • Articulate and able to perform demonstrations that engage and inspire.
  • A strong growth mindset.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills, as well as conversation etiquette.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical/plumbing engineering or design experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of design related experience
  • Proven experience in product demonstrations and training.
  • Experience in client engagement and presales activities.
  • Understanding of product management processes and tools.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with clients and team members.
  • Ability to identify client needs and align solutions accordingly.
  • Strong focus on client satisfaction and retention.
