As the Product Manager HETEM, you will be responsible for driving the strategic and tactical activities that enable technical product leadership in the market. You will play a crucial role in strengthening our product base and growing our global market presence by delivering standard products and enhanced solutions that provide differentiated customer value.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate customer needs through the collection of voice of customer data and develop product requirement documents.
  • Collaborate with internal and external organizations and partners to successfully carry out development and customer projects.
  • Lead product development projects from the business unit perspective and work closely with Product Marketing Managers to shape outcomes.
  • Provide technical assistance to our Sales organization, particularly for Non-Standard Requests (NSR's) to ensure customers' needs are met.
  • Support new product/solution sales promotions by delivering commercial and technical presentations and collateral directly to customers.

Qualifications and Required Skills:

  • BSc ideally in Physics, Electronics, Materials Science, or Chemistry. Equivalent proven experience in the field will also be considered.
  • Hands-on experience with TEM's and/or TEM detectors preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record in successfully managing projects involving various parties.
  • Technical leadership experience with R&D and Supplier organizations.
  • Industrial experience working in an electron microscopy facility and/or R&D departments.
  • Effective communicator and team worker with strong time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate and build relationships with customers, sales teams, and individuals with diverse expertise in relevant fields.
  • Willingness to travel globally, typically 25% of the time or more.
  • Strong ability to share ideas and information clearly with collaborators, team members, suppliers, and customers.
