Electron Microscopy Centre of Excellence
The SHA NanoPort team based in Shanghai, China, within the Sales and Service Division (SSD), runs an Electron Microscopy Centre of Excellence, supporting account managers and external Thermo Fisher Scientific customers in the Sciences and Industry markets. The key goals of the NanoPort team are to deliver high-quality Customer Applications Training and Support, conduct carefully prepared Product and Workflow Demonstrations, chip in to new hardware and software Product Introductions, and generate Marketing Collateral and contributions to high-profile Workshops and Conferences.

Position Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate NanoPort customer meetings, events and internal workshops. Prepare documents and facilities.
- Role as NanoPort contact to process administrative documents including visa invitation letters. Handle internal and outward communication for NanoPort.
- Partner with NanoPort managers to communicate weekly schedule to commercial team. Act as functional backup for NanoPort tour when needed.
- Sample management: keep adaptable communication with NanoPort and commercial team in receiving & returning samples. Maintain accurate records for sample distribution.
- Logistics management: closely collaborate with sourcing and logistics partners in domestic and international shipping of samples and parts, prepare parcels and documents.
- Lab consumable management: follow company purchasing process to order lab facilities/ consumables/ outsourcing needs, receive goods, maintain accurate inventory and place order when needed.
- Support lab facility/EHS management: facilitate instrument move in/out by coordinating with NanoPort technician team and facility team. Collaborate with EHS team in lab 6S supervision.
- Initiate and participate in PPI projects with NanoPort management team to continuously improve above processes.
Education and Required Experience
- A Bachelor's degree with 2+ years' experience working in a multifaceted, fast-paced environment where rapid decisions must be made.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. English proficiency (both oral and written) is required.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Experienced in lab operation, knowledge in import/export logistics is plus
