Position Title: Material Handler II

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Carry out processes of receiving, labeling, and storage of received materials.
  • Participate in the distribution of daily tasks, including receiving, storing, preparing, and packing shipments of clinical supplies.
  • Complete labeling processes according to internal procedures.
  • Perform full or partial reconciliations as determined in the work instruction.
  • Prepare and send requested materials and products to research centers flawlessly.
  • Ensure the warehouse is maintained in world-class condition, including the stored units.
  • Conduct stock controls and inventories.
  • Perform total and partial reconciliations according to work instructions for product transfers.
  • Complete forms and any administrative documentation corresponding to the assigned tasks.
  • Develop all activities efficiently and safely.
  • Manage the process of returning clinical materials from research sites.
  • Prepare and dispose of materials for destruction processes.
  • Perform conditioning and reconditioning of reusable containers.
  • Prepare and condition components in refrigerated, frozen, and deep-frozen conditions, ensuring the supply of the components.
  • Provide administrative support in carrying out and updating SOPs, work instructions, and research related to PRs or equivalent experience.

Minimum Basic Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Good Storage and Distribution Practices.
  • Basic knowledge of Outlook and Office package.

Education/Experience:

  • Education: High School diploma.
  • At least 1 year of experience in similar warehouse tasks and medicine logistics.

Certifications or Licenses:

  • Not required.

Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • No direct reports.

Internal and External Contacts:

  • Collaborate with Sr. Material Handler and work in conjunction with Logistic Specialist I and II, Lead Facilities Coordinator, and Lead Material Handler, who plan and coordinate operations. Engage daily with the Client Service Project Manager II to verify processes.

Languages:

  • Basic English proficiency required.
