Position Summary:
The role will be responsible for the people management of the Financial Accounting team, responsible for the financial accuracy of a number of APAC legal entities. The role requires deep understanding of the financial accounting. It must provide a high standard of business partnering to various functions outside of finance.
The successful candidate must be high potential, prepared to ensure the team delivers accurate and timely reporting results. They must be assured at working in a large multi-national; complex structure with the ability to prioritise and follow through in a fast-paced, multitask environment.

Excellent communication and business partnering skills will be expected, as you will be the key contact for internal customers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Financial Accounting team in the Manila GBS RtR team.
- Oversee the timeliness and accuracy of US GAAP financial reporting.
- Mentor, coach, and develop the team of finance professionals and driving a performance and customer first culture.
- Key contact for the business customers, including on projects and initiatives as required by working closely with other GBS departments and functions (i.e., Legal entity rationalization / productivity optimization).
- Chair monthly business reviews with customers.
- Perform balance sheet deep dives and present outcomes to stakeholders.
- Ensure financial compliance and SOX control measures required are executed without exception
- Deliver operational excellence.
- Lead, promote and drive a continuous improvement culture in the team, taking accountability for the delivery of projects feeding into the annual productivity targets.

- Qualifications and experience:
- Fluent in English
- Qualified Accountant or qualified by experience.
- Deep Accounting Operations knowledge.
- Management level people leader experience.
- Experience working in a large corporate environment, with outstanding organisational skills.
- High level of proactivity to drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to drive growth through excellent decision making.
