Job Description

Location : Youngjong (Incheon)

  • Team Leader for the inbound and outbound operations at the logistics center, your responsibilities will include leading a team of 2-5 members with work environment improvement
  • Writing and running the inbound operation manual: This includes creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI).
  • Inventory and consumable management: This involves conducting inventory audits such as cycle counting and location counting, managing stock movements, handling reuse and disposal, and placing new orders.
  • Cost management related to operations: This includes preparing estimates, purchasing, negotiating, and tracking expenses.
  • Maintenance of warehouse facilities: Collaborating with the facility management team to ensure the safety inspection and maintenance of various warehouse facilities. This includes implementing practices like 5S, Gemba, and Hazard ID, as well as running the associated documentation.
  • Handling important metrics for inbound and outbound productivity: This includes monitoring and improving the accuracy and productivity of operations, analyzing inbound and outbound trends, and preparing monthly reports.
  • Implementing continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen and Just-Do-It (JDI) to enhance productivity in inbound and outbound operations. This may involve reducing turnaround time, collecting and analyzing data, and optimizing workflow.
  • Conducting Root Cause and Corrective Measures (RCCM) activities in response to complaints.
  • Providing operational support for inbound and outbound tasks and encouraging collaboration with other relevant teams within the logistics center, such as the support team and the delivery team.

Experience

  • Work Experience: At least 8 years of logistics operations, with a focus on inbound and outbound tasks particularly in handling temperature-controlled products, reagents, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals. managing a team is also required.
  • Flexibility approach: The ability to adapt to change, whether it be new tasks or internal job rotations, is highly valued.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • WMS or ERP Usage
  • MS Office Proficiency: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Business-level English Communication
  • Forklift Experience: Experience in operating forklifts
