How Will You Make an Impact? Working under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Manager, responsibilities include performing activities related to environmental monitoring, bioburden, sterilization dose audits, and sterility testing. Support for product performance investigations and product release testing, including liquid particulate, endotoxin, RNase/DNase, and binding capacity, is required. Additionally, preparation of laboratory media, reagents, and solutions is vital.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct contamination and microbiological tests.
  • Develop new testing techniques and tools.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues and complaints.
  • Conduct and assist in experimental evaluations.
  • Validate test methods and equipment.
  • Participate in audits.
  • Maintain equipment calibration.
  • Train colleagues and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant laboratory experience.
  • Knowledge of regulated quality systems like FDA, EU MDR or IVDR, or ISO is beneficial.

  • Organized, structured, and diligent
  • Proficient in laboratory skills, documentation practices, and Microsoft Office
  • Skilled in data interpretation, basic statistical analysis, and effective communication

Physical Requirements:

This position may be required to stand and move about the facility.

This position may be required to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $23.26 -$34.88.

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $25.26-$34.87.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
