Summary of Internship
Internship positions provide an opportunity for engineering and science students to get hands on experience in a manufacturing and quality control environment. At our St Louis, Missouri site we are looking for an intern to support the development of new document templates and a platform to enable efficient capture and review of analytical data.
Essential Functions:
- Become familiar with site policies and FDA and EU regulations regarding analysis of the site's manufactured products
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams to support continuous improvement of documentation
- Develop templates and systems for ongoing use
- Develop checklists for data review
- Specific tasks will be tailored to the intern's experience level and abilities
Qualifications:
- Student currently enrolled in classes leading to an accredited bachelor's degree in a related engineering, science or life science field
- Preferred majors: Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, Supply Chain, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Biotechnology, Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering/science major
- Strong desire and motivation to develop a career in quality control laboratories
- Strong leadership and team building skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-functional team
- Ability to learn, be mentored, and improve
- To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status
