Job Description
The Inside Sales Representative, BioProduction will maintain a sales territory, support incoming customer inquiries for an assigned territory, and engage with both tactical and strategic customers that are not assigned to Field Bioproduction Account Managers. Primary customers include pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, Animal Health, R&D, cGMP, medical device, environmental, and research universities/institutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead tactical customer calls, quote inquires, product inquiries, documentation requirements to strengthen business for assigned customers
- Design and implement a detailed business plan with strategies to win business and drive growth
- Engage directly with potential clients to increase customer engagement
- Grow the territory focusing on meeting an assigned Annual Operating Target.
- Apply effective sales strategies to proactively seek out sales opportunities
- Apply knowledge and understanding of the Company's operational processes, market position, and competition to identify and qualify leads, prospects, and incoming inquires that fit our strategic objectives.
- Engage with Suppliers, Fisher Scientific, Production Chemicals, and the BioProduction Group to support needs through our supply chain services.
- Prepare quotes and related documentation to maintain updated customer profile information in Salesforce contact management.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 3+ years of sales experience, preferably within a related industry.
- Must possess a strong desire to serve the customer, and the interpersonal skills to efficiently engage with various levels of personnel at the customer site.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions and observations from market trends and sales data analysis
- Solid understanding and proficiency in life sciences and/or the bioprocess industry to be able to serve as a resource for customers
- Ability to present information to research & process development scientists, purchasing, and supply chain personnel.

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $24.49-$36.73.
