LOCATION: 168 Third Avenue, Waltham, MA 02451

TITLE: Global Services and Support Trainer

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

DUTIES: • Build and evolve the Global Applications and Support Training program in North America;

  • Create a program to facilitate customer training as well as training for internal staff that will directly impact priority workflows, successful outcomes for clients and generate recurring revenue;
  • Perform service and support training by engaging with regional service and support managers as well as territory leads in order to deliver a training program for customers and customer facing staff on Global Technical Training SOPs and existing and emerging technologies.
  • Create training planning systems that will forecast training requests from support managers on specific courses;
  • Engage in global curriculum content creation, approval and release of training material;
  • Develop learning courses across Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), Capillary electrophoresis and other priority workflows and new product launches to make training more effective.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify and develop training materials appropriate for each workflow across North America, Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) regions.
  • Identify the various resources needed and time required for project completion, liaise with stakeholders from time to time in order to ensure successful project completion.
  • Work with stakeholders and regional team leads to generate a standard operating procedure (SOP) for designing curricula, and certifying employees on curricula used for diagnostic and clinical workflows (FDA, IVRD approved).
  • Ensure training centers are ISO 13458 certified (Medical device regulation audit).
  • Maintain the global application learning website: sources and adds application workflows, analysis videos and other content to the website regularly.

  • Genetic manipulation RNAi Techniques
  • PCR, qPCR, dPCR
  • Small RNA sequencing
  • DNA and Plasmid Sequencing
  • CE and Next-Gen Sequencing technologies
  • Microscopy-confocal, wide-field
  • Adobe Photoshop Design software;
  • Working in a biosafety rated laboratory - BSL-3;
  • Curricula development and delivery;
  • DNA Sequencing or qPCR.
