Financial Analyst III

The Financial Analyst will be reporting to the Sr. Manager FP&A, CTD EMEA. You will provide financial support with a focus on forecasting, reporting, and business analytics, and decision support to its manager and the global CSS organization. You will support and complete tasks with regard to the implementation, standardization, and continuous improvement of processes around forecasting, reporting, and business analytics for the CSS organization.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the Sr. Manager FP&A in its role as a business partner to the EMEA organization and its leadership team.
  • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
  • Analyze financial data and build financial models for decision support.
  • Support the Annual Operating Planning process as well as monthly & Quarterly business reviews.
  • Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
  • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting, hands-on support on the financial reconciliation process during the month, quarter, and year-end processes.
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Guide cost analysis process by establishing and implementing policies and procedures.
  • Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials.
  • Identify and drive operational improvements, including the creation of and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.
  • Increase efficiency by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
  • Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
  • Reconcile existing transactions through cross-referencing of incoming and outgoing data.
  • Ad hoc - coordinate and support various ad hoc projects and request for data

Your Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of business finance or other proven experience.
  • MBA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Statistics are preferred.
  • High proficiency in financial modeling techniques (incl. Excel formulas and functions).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics.
  • Strong analytical and data-gathering skills.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical proficiency.
  • Strong financial modeling experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; be comfortable interacting with executive-level management.
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
