Job Title: Production Support Engineer

Reports To: Engineering Manager

Position Summary: (1-2 sentences)

This position takes the responsibility of developing and optimizing manufacturing and test processes proactively and initiatively; resolving quality issues in a systematical way to ensure the on time delivery of high quality standard product; To driving continuous improvement in the areas of production productivity, manufacturing cost through PPI.

Key Responsibilities: (Bullets)

  • Driving cost reduction by optimizing design and manufacturing processes, analyzing cost structures, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Familiar with machining or sheet metal fabrication processes, capable of designing and optimizing mechanical components.
  • Develop sufficient evaluation plan for localized part or new part with ECO and then submit professional report for local peer and R&D peer review to drive on time delivery and / or cost reduction.
  • Utilize solid analytical skills to perform root cause analysis on issues arising during production. Develop and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams to ensure timely project completion.
  • Conduct validation testing on new or improved components to ensure their performance and reliability.

General Education and Background

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Mechatronics Engineering is preferring.
  • Manufacturing engineer or design engineer experience (>5 years), Scientific instruments industry
  • Familiar with CAD software, such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
  • Good English skill both in oral and written is needed.
  • Strong project management skills and time management abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects.
