Job Description

As an Engineer II, Validation, based in the Los Angeles, CA area, you will be part of a dynamic team committed to outstanding standards and flawless execution. Your contributions will help craft the future of scientific discovery, competing on a world-class stage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform calibrations and validations on laboratory equipment to ensure flawless operation according to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Conduct qualification tests of new or existing equipment to determine efficient performance.
  • Prepare detailed reports based on testing results to successfully implement solutions and maintain high standards.

Work Environment

This is a customer-facing role with 60% overnight travel and local travel. Responsibilities include driving a company vehicle, effective customer communication, performing equipment maintenance, writing service and expense reports, and installing instrumentation.

Education

  • High school diploma required

Required Experience

  • Proven experience with GxP and GDP.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related validation experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% domestically.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 Calibration.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Ability to work independently at customer sites with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative approach.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

Physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting, using hands, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 30 pounds regularly and 75+ pounds occasionally.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $72,000.00-$108,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
