Engineer II, Field Service Northern Spain

This outstanding opportunity allows you to work independently from a home office in Bilbao or Santiago de Compostela, supporting and maintaining our Indiko & Kryptor Analyzers. Responsibilities:

  • Work independently as part of a Field Service organization team to support Indiko & Kryptor Analyzers.
  • Perform service and support, including preventive maintenance, installation, hotline support, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Business Development teams to provide on-site support, demonstrations, and assist in sales visits when required.
  • Share experience and standard methodologies of product services and applications with colleagues to contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with Hotline, Field Application Specialists, Support Specialists, Service Managers, Sales Representatives, and Sales Managers.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement projects to improve work quality and efficiency.
  • Maintain a client-focused and customer-centric approach, aligning with company goals and objectives.
  • Accurately document field support activities, including qualification and service reports, expense reports, and timely submission through the required systems.

Requirements:

  • Work from a home office in Spain and travel around 70% of the time, mainly to customers from northern Spain and occasionally Portugal, or other European countries..
  • Educational background within engineering (electrical or mechanical) or equivalent qualifications.
  • Solid working knowledge of analytical instrumentation and proven Field Service experience in installation, servicing, and troubleshooting.
