Summary:
Thermo Fisher Scientific is looking for a Digital Marketing Website Specialist looking to propel their career by joining an energetic and dedicated team of marketing professionals. This role sits within our Chemical Analysis Digital Marketing Operations COE, driving strategies and execution for the brand, reporting to our Digital Marketing Supervisor. You will be responsible for taking content from multiple business partners and thoughtfully incorporating it into our website's content management system collaborating with professional colleagues to ensure accuracy. This individual will bring to bear customer-centric design principles and page analytics to inform and drive production decisions as well as be passionate about digital marketing, building webpages and determined to continuously improve our customers' digital experience. The successful candidate should feel at ease in a global organization with multiple marketing departments and collaborating with large teams.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to understand web content requests and advise on customer-centric designs
- Create web pages within Adobe Content Manager, and customize HTML/CSS code as needed
- Edit optimized web-ready digital graphics by compositing, masking, sharpening, resizing, etc.
- Align with the style and navigational guidelines of the website. Propose improvements based on business partners' feedback and web analytics
- Work with business partners when content requires clarification or correction
- Collaborate with the SEO Manager to understand and implement technical SEO standard methodologies.
- Manage workflow and maintain timeline of multiple, simultaneous projects, with prioritization guidance from the supervisor
- Interface within the project management system on assigned projects. It includes retrieving assets, communicating details of the project, uploading URLs for review, and completing assigned steps within the workflow
- Provide project status updates to the supervisor and business partners to set expectations on timelines, accomplishments, open questions, and risks
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and follow Agile principles
- Be available during off-hours to participate in daily standups and attend meetings with peers based in the US as needed
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree, and more than 4-5 years of hands-on experience with customer-facing websites
- Experience working with content management systems, Adobe Experience Manager a plus
- Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite of products including Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver
- Solid understanding of HTML and CSS
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with backlog management tools, WorkFront and Jira a plus
- Agile experience is a bonus
- Passionate about user experience and customer-centric design
- Interested in page analytics and data-driven approaches
- Basic understanding of SEO principles
- Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based project environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Precise attention to detail and an eye for design consistency
- Strong focus on high-quality deliverables with minimal bugs/errors
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively talk to all project team members in formal and informal situations.
