The Role

Kyndryl is seeking an enthusiastic, result-oriented Director of Marketing. You will be responsible for all aspects of marketing, including developing programs for digital marketing, partner marketing, market intelligence, and product marketing for Skytap, a Kyndryl Company. You have the ability to easily flex between strategic and tactical thinking. You can be hands on without losing sight of the big picture. You thrive on challenge and have experience in building a highly collaborative marketing teams committed to delivering results that have an impact on the success of the business.

Who You Are

Your Responsibilities:

  • Market Expertise: Be the expert on the competition and how to beat them. Lead the cross-functional discussion on competitive dynamics and potential responses.
  • Partner Marketing: Build strong working relationships with Microsoft, IBM, and several other key GTM and technical partners. You will tap into their programs, tools, and resources to scale and amplify our message and reach.
  • Digital Marketing: Develop innovative marketing campaigns that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. Manage all digital marketing assets, including the corporate website, social media, and collateral such as white papers and videos.
  • Field Enablement: Partner with our sales, business development, and customer success teams in driving the creation of necessary collateral, promotions, training, and tools (e.g. playbooks, battle cards, scripts, presentations, training modules, demos) to drive growth and efficiency.
  • Product Positioning: Define and deliver differentiated positioning which considers different customer segments, integrated partner offerings, and company strategy. Guide product development and sales enablement by way of insights regarding how we can win in the market through innovative product features and unique customer value.
  • Customer Insights: Lead segmentation efforts and develop critical customer insights through self-driven research and partnering with the product management, customer success, and engineering teams.
  • Leadership: Define and own the marketing strategy including staffing needs and hiring plan. Experienced, confident, and comfortable presenting to all levels of the organization.

Your Skill Set:

  • Strong executive presence and excellent stakeholder relationship management required. Ability to negotiate and influence others in a positive way and be a change manager is a key success factor.
  • Demonstrated passion for the customer, gaining customer insights by way of research and testing and translating insights into successful execution.
  • Proven ability to define and communicate using data to drive decisions.
  • Experience testing marketing hypotheses in market and iterating on learnings to amplify results.
  • Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts at varying levels of detail.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, analytical skills, and problem identification / resolution skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required; MBA preferred.

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $146,04o to $277,320 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement. There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:

California:$160,680 to $332,760

Colorado: $146,040 to $277,320

New York City: $175,080 to $332,760

Washington: $160,680 to $305,160

Washington DC: $160,680 to $305,160

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
