Job Description

Responsibilities:

Business Partnering:

Partner with businesses effectively in order to ensure long term sustainable and profitable growth.

  • Lead the process of review and finalization of the Business AOP (Annual Operating Plan), Strategic Planning and Reporting.
  • Drive agenda of MBR (Monthly Business Review) & QBR (Quarterly Business Review) for Business leader with APAC Division leader and India Leadership in order to understand the variance in Actual vs AOP and drive corrective action; Identify opportunities and prepare plans to mitigate risks;
  • Prepare and share updated Rolling Forecast with the Leadership on monthly basis for timely discussion. Provide timely and accurate management financial reporting.
  • Drive sustainable future business growth by focusing on quality of revenue and understanding drivers of growth for the Business;
  • Analyse and drive competitive insights leading to market beating growth
  • Lead ROI optimization and identify improvements on marketing spends by reducing the red ROI activities;
  • Evaluate and drive business deals that meets strategic needs
  • Market Visits- Plan visits to gain market/competition insights
  • Steer along with supply chain on Inventory levels optimization and working capital management
  • Annual Bonus & Incentive calculation for Sales Organisation;

Financial Performance Evaluation:

Review and analysis of business with respect to key financial drivers and financial performance of the business in order to achieve the Revenue & EBITA as per AOP for the year.

  • Deliver Revenue and EBITA targets through financial reporting and analytics and drive EBITA improvement initiatives
  • Monitor and Evaluate key KPIs and highlight key areas for effective action
  • Drive better product mix and identify and implement Pricing & COGS reduction opportunities in order to ensure improvement in Gross Margin;
  • Implement cost containment plans to ensure effective utilization of funds;
  • Drive every element of P&L and report Variance in Actual Vs AOP vs Last Year in order to achieve sustainable growth
  • Provide performance insights and publish monthly dashboards to drive growth and improve profitability

Process Improvement & Controls:

Drive process improvement leading to simplification (including automation) and implement better control to ensure business is done in a simplified and compliant environment

  • Drive automation of reports through advanced IT platforms in order to reduce manual process & save time
  • Identify and execute areas of process simplification for business to drive improvement in Bias for Action.
  • Partner with consultants / auditors in driving different business process improvements / audits - ensure that they are relevant and enforceable in the given business environment
  • Ensure that all existing SOPs and Delegation of Authority are complied with - any deviation to the same is properly evaluated and corrective actions initiated

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant or MBA with ~ 2-4 years of post-qualification experience
  • Working experience in ERP system (E1/SAP)
  • Exposure to Hyperion planning would be an added advantage
  • Strong Financial & Business Acumen
  • Strong Communication Skills, both verbal & written
  • Strong interpersonal, supervisory skills and customer service orientation
  • Team Management, People Management
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to manage multiple expectations in a typical Matrix Organization structure
  • Candidates with working in a multi-cultural environment would be preferred
  • Ability to develop high levels of credibility and forge solid and positive professional relationships with subordinates, peers, and upper management are prerequisites to success in this position.
