Position Objective

The Channel Operations Manager is a vital member of the BioProduction Group's Commercial Organization in the EMEA region. They play a crucial role in our cross-functional team, overseeing the go-to-market strategy, development, and execution of customer programs across all channels. Their responsibilities include delivering sales information to support channel growth and ensuring successful program implementation to increase market share.

The successful candidate will interpret and analyze channel performance results for internal and external review. There is ample opportunity to grow the role by managing larger projects, including price role processes, rebate programs, and sales force effectiveness improvements.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Analytical: Proficient in Excel, capable of conducting various analyses, and eager to implement new techniques to drive focused actions.
  • Process Improvement: Experienced in improving processes, with an orientation towards continuous enhancement.
  • Effective Prioritization: Skilled in managing multiple initiatives and prioritizing tasks based on critical needs, while ensuring efficient time management.
  • Business Insight: Demonstrates an understanding of the factors that contribute to a thriving business, enabling informed decisions regarding pricing, compensation, and process improvement.
  • Commercial Experience: Experience supporting or working closely with sales personnel, with a strong understanding of the analytical framework needed for a commercial organization.

Experience

  • Degree or equivalent experience at the Life Sciences level is essential.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with sales force automation software is a plus.
  • Full professional proficiency in English and another European language ideally.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Skilled at working in a collaborative environment, managing various collaborators, and handling multiple projects at once.
  • Ability to travel and attend regional and national meetings as required.
  • Committed, self-motivated, and driven by a strong work ethic, urgency, integrity, and professionalism.
