For the Biomarker Business Unit we are looking for a

Business Intelligence Data Manager (m/f/d)
Location: Hennigsdorf, Germany

How will you make an impact?

Working closely with Global Product Management, this role contributes to shaping our data platforms. The successful candidate will assess complex business needs, gather data, develop business intelligence tools, and provide impactful insights. They will also collaborate with internal clients to create visualizations that inform decision-making.

Key responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of, develop, program, maintain, and improve BI tools, with a focus on automation and efficiency.
  • Exploit and process company-wide data for analyses and modeling to generate valuable insights
  • Build dynamic reports and dashboards to make insights available to business partners
  • Drive data-related initiatives and carry out optimization projects
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying and actively participating in or leading process improvement initiatives
  • Establish business-critical metrics and implement accountability matrices to be presented to leadership


Education:


  • Successfully completed studies in Data Science, Economics, Information Systems, Business Informatics, Natural Science, or a similar field
  • MBA or equivalent experience is a plus


Experience & Skills:


  • Minimum two years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Data Analytics, with over one year of work experience in data modeling and analysis
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and visualization skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SQL, VBA (including data architecture), Python, DAX, with experience in Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Query; Cognos SAP & Salesforce.com is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English
