Key Responsibilities:

  • Articulate & document business requirements in an analytical manner to find out the exact business need
  • Bring in SAP standard processes to enhanced user experience, business effectiveness and efficiency
  • Understand how new changes in one functional area can impact other functions
  • Create strategic roadmap for SAP modules related to Finance in the given business environment & needs
  • Work as a critical link between IT and Business teams to mitigate challenges, risks and issues
  • Work with multiple partners to drive solution architecture, timely delivery with quality output
  • Management and accountability for the achievement of all Metrics (SLAs)
  • Suggest process improvements and automation to improve Finance critical metrics like improved AR TAT, accurate accounting, efficient working capital management, improving profitability etc.
  • Provide solutions in an Agile setting
  • Work with various partners to build project plans - Scope definition, Timeline and Budgeting
  • Train Super Users for new solutions implemented and ensure training to all relevant users in a 'collaborative' way
  • Resolving day to day issues in SAP Finance area
  • Make SAP configurations for standard changes
  • Support cutover activities for projects and Master Data governance

Key Skills:

  • A solid understanding of financial concepts, regulations, and industry-specific requirements
  • Solid understanding of the business operations including knowledge of key performance indicators (critical metrics) and various finance compliances
  • Effective communication skills to interact with cross function team members at all levels
  • Good grasp of SAP FICO functionalities

Qualifications & Experience

  • Chartered Accountant, CA Inter, MBA Finance, Bachelor's / Master degree in Accounting
  • 6-10+ years of experience in SAP FICO area. Having knowledge of other SAP modules is an added advantage e.g. SAP PS, SAP SD
  • In depth understanding of Finance Operations in multi-country SAP template solution
  • Expert knowledge of business processes in Finance operations including multi-functional teams such as Customer Service, Supply Chain etc.
  • SAP module / other IT certification
