Location/Division Specific Information

ImmunoDiagnostics Division (IDD) - Phadia AB in Uppsala

A day in the Life:

  • Drive and handle timely and high-quality relations with Global Business Services (GBS) in Paisley. Responsible for ensuring that the GBS service levels are met or exceeded on behalf of IDD Uppsala (Phadia group companies).
  • Retained activities and tasks in Accounting Uppsala.
  • Key local resource in support of annual audits, tax and SOX audits, and any other audits in relation to the group companies.
  • SAP Capital expenditure management in IDD Uppsala.
  • Lead and take part in other financial tasks and projects as the need arises.
  • Analytical support to various functions in the organization.
  • Initiate and drive efficiency and improve daily operations and business support.
  • Maintain accurate internal controls over financial reporting, including Sunshine Act Reporting, Medtech Reporting and fulfilling SOX requirements.

Keys to Success:

Education

Bachelor Degree in Economics and Business Administration

Experience

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration.

3-5 years of work experience from similar role.

Experience from working in an international organization is a merit.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Candidate will demonstrate senior proficiency in the following areas: financial reporting, internal control, analysis and technical accounting knowledge.
  • Good written communication skills, along with clear and concise verbal skills, are required.
  • Ability to balance multiple assignments, has good judgment, and prioritizes projects and time efficiently.
  • Good skills with MS Excel, SAP and HFM are required.
