Join us in our mission to drive progress in the medical technology sector by providing specialist support to implement and integrate the EXENT® system into clinical laboratory workflow. Working in a fast paced growth stage environment, demonstrate product knowledge and technical proficiency to advance healthcare in the in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) sector.
A day in the Life:
- Develop and conduct EXENT® End User and Internal training programmes that include the latest technical advancements and software updates. This includes remote and in person workshops for both end customers and subsidiary offices.
- Monitor key performance indicators to identify areas of improvement that promote efficiency, competitive advantage and empower skills within the team.
- Assume an important role in developing departmental processes that guarantee seamless integration.of the EXENT® system into the customer laboratory workflow- enabling progress to be appropriately reported, controlled, and maintained during hypercare and beyond.
- Collaborate with technical functions in Global Services and across various regions.to provide timely and effective onsite or remote support to customers (end-users) and colleagues.
- Perform troubleshooting investigations to diagnose instrument issues and provide solutions in strict accordance with relevant guidelines and SOPs
- Maintain subject matter expertise and proficiency. Initiate and run technical projects ensuring adherence to project plans and quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate to share knowledge through structured training materials and knowledge articles and relevant technical materials.
- Leverage technical proficiency and customer-facing skills to present the systems, software and products during demonstrations, customer insight days and other company-led and marketing events.
- Play a pivotal role as the 'customer's voice' and provide input to optimize product use in clinical laboratories, which encompasses support for software and system development projects,
- Ensure adherence to the company's quality and regulatory policies by promptly identifying product risks and technical issues, and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Engage in change control and other configuration management activities.
- Flexibility to travel, occasionally on short notice, for up to 40% of the time, both within the UK and internationally.
Keys to Success:
Education
- Bachelor's Degree / equivalent in life science or other science related field
- Demonstratable working experience with IVD medical technologies.
Experience
- 2 years professional experience in a scientific or clinical field. with expertise in medical devices and/or IVDs
- Experience working with or providing technical support for clinical laboratory automation particularly MALDI -TOF mass spectrometry and liquid handlers is essential.
- Project management activities.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, coupled with effective decision-making abilities. Proficient in written and verbal communication skills, including robust presentation and public speaking skills. Knowledgeable about effective training methodologies and tools. Capable of local and international travel on short notice. Possesses a full driving license.
