Application and Training Support

  • Provide on-site Instrument and applications training on Application specialist support for Core Microbiology product portfolio of IDS to ensure end-user satisfaction.
  • To attend and timely resolve customer queries on Core Microbiology product portfolio of IDS and related applications.
  • Inclined to learn and improve technical knowledge and skills on existing and new BD Core Microbiology products.
  • Plan and organize training programs for internal team/ distributor team/ account managers in the assigned territory to raise and strengthen the technical bar and capability on product knowledge.

Marketing and Sale Support

  • Understanding requirements of customer's experiment and provide appropriate technical and product solutions through discussions, presentations and/or product/application demonstrations to positively impact sales and increase productivity.
  • Co-ordinate / support / lead awareness activities such as seminars, conference
  • Continuously track competitor activity and scan the market environment for developing trends and practices and emerging business opportunities.

Monitoring and Collaboration Support

  • Responsible for providing technical direction and support to customers on the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of BD Core Microbiology products and serves as the customer contact by collaborating to resolve the technical and service-related problems.
  • Works closely with the corporate contacts related to technical support, marketing, QA/QC, and R&D to address customer concerns, determine corrective action and customer follow-up; and the designated service engineers to ensure prompt resolution of customer issues.
  • Tracking of customer feedback on product quality and escalating product issues to appropriate authority within the organization
  • Prepare and provide a monthly report to supervisor on tech support, training and marketing activities. Ensure timely submission of post-installation training and evaluation reports.
  • Work in coordination with sales, service and other application associates towards achieving the business objectives.
  • Support a culture of constructive feedback and continuous improvement within the organization.
