Senior Account Manager is in charge of leading a team of sales account mangers who sell materials and Structural Analysis Division Electron Microscopy (MSD-EM) products to semiconductor customers in South East Asia (SEA). This role is accountable for ensuring the team has effective customer relations, develops opportunities for growth, and assures market penetration and profitability while achieving sales target. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced people leader who enjoys completing account planning and forecasting, analyzing reports on business, and handling performance of the team!
Key responsibilities will be:
- Manage semiconductor customers mainly in Malaysia.
- Deliver sales objective with accurate forecast.
- Maintain a pipeline of opportunities wtih proper and timely updates in CRM
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine customer needs and successfully implement solutions
- Manage 'roadmap to PO' using structured selling approaches such as Miller-Heiman and ensure to follow compliance regulations strictly
- Positively represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at all times throughout customer location
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in science or engineering, , or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Good knowledge of the Semiconductor industry, and/or electron optics and the application fiel
- Proven track record of successfully competing in a sales role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop deep customer relationships and credibility, to gain insight into customers' requirements with sophisticated interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Able and willing to travel to customer locations
