About the Internship
The Engineering Solutions group is one of the key groups within the Engineering Operations Division of Engineering Department to ensure Engineering continues to meet our Agency's standards and priorities. Our group is responsible for providing the Department with technology (applications and workflows), archival/management support to various forms of electronic data and administer computer hardware/software. Summer Interns can further develop the knowledge they learned in the classroom with hands-on experience in a real-world work environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and create content and apps within our SharePoint Engineering Intranet (EOL) and/or with Microsoft DEVOP toolset.
- Work with the development team to test and or perform minor application changes to existing applications.
- Work with Engineering's SaaS solutions in our cloud environments - AWS, Azure platforms.
- Work with our Process Automation team to identify and implement advanced "AI" enablement solutions.
- Help maintain databases to ensure data accuracy and concurrency.
- Work with the HW/SW support team to support desktops, servers, and engineering design software.

Minimum Qualifications
- Enrollment at a college/university through Summer 2025 and into the Fall 2025 semester
- Major in Computer Science or Data Science.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with Office 365 toolset - Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI.
- Familiar with programing language, such as SQL, C#, Python.
- Some knowledge of Azure Cloud Services.
- Strong communication skills.
- Team player.
Internship Details
- The start date will be Thursday, May 29, 2025
- The internship will last approximately 12 weeks, ending on Friday, August 22, 2025
- This is a full-time internship (5 days per week at 7.25 hours per day)
- The format is expected to be hybrid

Compensation & Benefits
- The hourly rate range is $17.63 to $27.21 (the exact rate will be determined by internship type and rising school year)
