The Hartford's Enterprise Treasury Organization is seeking a Treasury Analyst to support its Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) team. As a liaison between Treasury's business and banking partners, you will operate in the fast-paced world of real-time fund movements for insurance premium collections, claims disbursements, and investment of The Hartford's funds. You will deliver outstanding service to internal and external partners, ensure the integrity of financial controls, segregation of duties, accuracy, and timeliness.

*This role will have a Hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation of working in the Charlotte, NC office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).
Responsibilities:
- Process wire transfers, ACH debits & credits, and credit card transactions.
- Review EFT forms to ensure they are complete and accurate, and execute EFT entered transfers accurately within the designated timeframes.
- Support the transmission of EFT files between business partners and The Hartford's treasury management system, bank web portals, and bank partners.
- Confirm and communicate receipt of EFT file confirmations.
- Perform research with banking partners of unapplied EFT transactions
- Communicate effectively with the Treasury team, business partners, and banking staff regarding current and future money movements, and resolve customer inquiries promptly.
- Must be alert for any suspicious or fraudulent activity
- Support quarterly audits by providing internal/external auditors with appropriate EFT documentation.
- Participate in the collection, input, reconciliation, and reporting of data from various systems.
- Identify, recommend, and assist in implementing opportunities for continuous improvement, increased efficiency, and best practices.
- Support process improvements and business partner initiatives through participation in various projects and performing regression testing
- Interact with various disciplines across The Hartford, including billing, claims, and investment operations.
- Provide personal information to financial institutions or other entities as required in support of the position's responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years previous experience with ACH and Wire Transfer related services in the financial services industry is preferred.
- A working understanding of ACH and Wire Transfer concepts.
- BS Degree preferred, with major in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred (open to 2024 graduates)
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication and member service skills are a must.
- Detail oriented, working under tight deadlines with focus on accuracy
- Strong excel skills preferred
- Experience using G-Treasury Management System a plus
Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
$56,000 - $84,000
