We are seeking a Senior Process Optimization Consultant to join the Employee Benefits SDX and Partner Connection value stream. The team's objective is to execute the value stream's strategy by employing robust process management practices that emphasize continuous improvement and ongoing maintenance.
This role will spearhead initiatives, strategize, plan and implement practices framework, drive enhancements, and support activities concerning our partner connections processes and Invest initiatives. Key accountabilities of the position are outlined below:

- Define Best Practices Framework: Implement the vision by partnering with value stream team members and stakeholders.
- Leverage Data: Identify problems by ensuring that key performance indicators (KPI) are central to the analysis and used to measure success.
- Partnership with SMEs: Map out current-state and maintain future-state business-process flows of customer attributes across customer-journey touch points and channels.
- Lead Design and Development: Implement strategies and tactics for effective and efficient process management and continuous improvement.
- Provide Guidance: Offer expertise to all levels of leadership on process optimization, continuous improvement, and the strategic and tactical implications of business decisions.
- Voice of Customer (VOC): Center all process changes around VOC and lead others through change, including new system enhancements.
- Assist in Business Planning: Collect and analyze Voice of the Customer and Voice of the Business data to aid in business planning and strategy.
- Apply Best Practices: Ensure best practices are applied to all aspects of process management and continuous improvement of operational level processes.
- Design Solutions: Contribute to the design of solutions and workarounds for daily workflow problems that arise in the execution of work.
- Assess Projects: Evaluate the strengths and opportunities of projects to drive efficiency and improvement. Manage and monitor project timelines to deliver desired outcomes and business results.
Qualifications:
- Strong process management experience, with green belt or black belt certifications being a plus.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, influencing, and effective relationship-building competencies.
- Demonstrated capability and experience in leading cross-functional teams and/or projects.
- Strong time management, analytical and problem-solving skills and proven ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize in a complex environment.
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Critical thinking skills -applies sound judgment; able to trouble-shoot
- Sound data analytics expertise with the ability to synthesize data and develop solutions
- Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to effectively influence others.
- Exceptional relationship management skills; interact effectively at all levels of the organization and across multiple business areas. persuasive / able to influence others.
- Proven ability to lead change and drive results; ability to manage the integration of new initiatives into the organization.
- EB Implementation and partner connection experience preferred.
- This is a hybrid work position with 40% remote work.
This role can have a Hybrid or Remote work arrangement. Candidates who live near one of our office locations will have the expectation of working in an office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). Candidates who do not live near an office will have a remote work arrangement, with the expectation of coming into an office as business needs arise.
Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
$109,600 - $164,400
