The Hartford Insurance is seeking a skilled and experienced AV Event Execution Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in audio, video, and lighting systems, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Audio Systems: Operate and manage audio equipment, including microphones, speakers, amplifiers, and mixers. Ensure optimal sound quality for events.
    • Video Systems: Set up and operate video projectors, screens, cameras, and video switchers. Ensure high-quality video output and seamless integration with other AV components.
    • Lighting Systems: Design and control lighting fixtures and control boards to create the desired ambiance and visual effects for events.
    • Cabling and Connectivity: Set up and troubleshoot AV cables, connectors, and signal flow to ensure reliable and efficient connectivity.
    • Software: Utilize AV software for configuration and control, ensuring all systems are properly integrated and functioning.

    • Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, event organizers, and team members to understand their needs and provide excellent service.
    • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues during setup and events, fostering a cooperative and supportive work environment.
  • Physical Stamina:

    • Lifting and Moving Equipment: Lift and transport heavy AV equipment as needed, ensuring safe handling and setup.

Qualifications:

  • Certifications and Training:

    • Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification is a plus, demonstrating a recognized level of expertise in AV technology.
  • Experience:

    • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in AV setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance, with a proven track record of successful event execution.
    • Exposure to live events, conferences, or presentations, showcasing the ability to handle various event types and sizes.
  • Platform Experience:

    • Proficiency with MS365 Teams and WebEx, ensuring seamless integration and operation of these platforms during events.
    • Experience with Yamaha QL audio systems is a plus, highlighting familiarity with advanced audio equipment.
    • Demonstrated expertise in industry-standard AV technologies and practices, ensuring the highest level of technical proficiency.
    • Commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements in AV technology, continuously improving skills and knowledge.

This role will have a Hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation of working in an office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday) from Hartford, CT. Charlotte, NC. Chicago, IL. or Columbus, OH.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. The company will not support the STEM OPT I-983 Training Plan endorsement for this position.

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

$84,400 - $126,600
