Senior Manager, Strategic Insights & Analysis

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Strategic Insights & Analysis to join our Strategy team in Coca-Cola Great China & Mongolia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic recommendations on "where to play" across a broad range of lenses including macro and regulatory contexts, the Coca-Cola system, category, competition, customer, channel, consumer, and shopper. The role requires expertise in deriving strategic insights from multiple data sources and driving forward strategic initiatives within the system. The Senior Manager will be an expert on the NARTD (Non-Alcoholic Ready to Drink) industry in China and will provide recommendations on strategy to senior executives.

Key Responsibilities:

IMAGINE: Gaze towards the horizon internally and externally to map out long term future growth opportunities and challenges, analyze complex business questions

ARCHITECT: Feed into Corporate planning process (Long Range Plan/Annual Business Plan) with industry forecast, OI pools, opportunity identification, competitive analysis. Support functional/commercial/LRP/ABP with strategic insights and opportunity identification

CONNECT: Combine and synthesize information in novel ways to produce specific and actionable insights relevant to the business, set the context to drive and provide direction for strategic conversations with senior management

BUILD: Become expert data users with a solid knowledge of 1) what data is available 2) how data can be used 3) building narratives from data across the system

Key Skills and Competencies:

Strategic thinking and planning with ability to synthesize and derive strategic insights from multiple data sources.

Strong learning agility to quickly understand and determine business implications from data & analysis. Ability to triangulate data and ask key questions to derive recommendations

Data and financial modeling capabilities. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software

Excellent leadership, communication and presentation skills with ability to effectively influence across the organization.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or above, Master's degree is preferred.

A minimum of 7+ years of work experience in industry analysis within FMCG, private equity/venture capital (PE/VC), or securities firms.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets with proficiency in modeling.

Fast learning ability to sift through data and quickly understand implications.

Proficiency in relevant tools and software including Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, Nielsen, Kantar, and GlobalData.

Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
