Engineering Technician (Utility)

  • Carrying out operational and maintenance activities in the areas of the water treatment plant, boiler, compressor, genset, wastewater treatment plant, domestic wastewater treatment plant, fire pump, transformer, deep well, fire alarm, and plant perimeter CCTV.
  • Performing maintenance efforts on public facilities inside and outside the building, including air conditioning in all parts of the building.
  • Maintaining equipment, collecting, and updating data/records related to the use of access cards and CCTV in the plant area.
  • Renewing Operational Permits (SIO) and attending training from accredited bodies as a requirement to work in utility areas in accordance with applicable laws in Indonesia, including but not limited to Genset SIO, Boiler SIO, and POPAL.
  • Receiving handover from the Project Engineer after projects in the utility and building areas are completed.
  • Attending operational and maintenance training after projects in the utility and building areas are completed.
  • Providing suggestions/inputs for updating the existing maintenance program if needed, as an impact of completed projects in the utility and building areas.
  • Troubleshooting or resolving problems related to the performance of machines, operating systems, and facilities associated with utility and building areas.
  • Ensuring the pest control program is running in the company by contracting pest control service providers, facilitating performance review meetings with pest control service providers at least once every 3 months, and discussing with the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Engineering Manager to implement recommendations from the pest control provider to improve pest protection within the company.
  • Escalating to the Engineering Manager if any abnormal or non-compliant conditions are found related to quality, safety, sustainability, and regulatory compliance in the utility and building areas.
  • Handing over work to another technician if you are unable to perform duties during a certain period. This activity must be documented and acknowledged by all involved parties.
  • Carrying out other duties/instructions not inherent to the utility and building technician position but applicable to all PT Coca-Cola Indonesia employees, such as participating in BBS (Behaviour-Based Safety), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), supporting audit preparation, supporting company-led modernization efforts, etc.
  • Acting as backup personnel when there are no other roles/functions available within the Engineering department, in accordance with instructions from the Maintenance Supervisor or Engineering Manager.
