Job Overview

Provides Total Rewards consulting services which are aligned to the global total rewards strategy and tailored to the local needs of our customers and clients in EMEA. Additionally, this role will partner closely with the Total Rewards Innovation Center to ensure effective and meaningful support is provided to business units and HR stakeholders.

• Build strong relationships with management, BU HR and HR Solutions in countries to understand business challenges and to plan and identify appropriate solutions

• Understand top talent in country(s), key roles and strategic workforce plans to influence compensation strategy and planning with respect to base pay, incentives and equity
• Consult on TR topics to ensure they are market competitive and affordable
• Point of contact for assigned countries and provide HR and leadership with timely professional advice and guidance
• Identify inefficiencies in own work processes and provide recommendations for corrective action
• Develop and deliver training and communications to HR and managers
• Establish external network/s with TR professionals from similar companies to share best practice and obtain accurate market information outside of salary surveys
• Serve as TR lead for acquisition due diligence and integration in the countries
• Robust analytics capabilities to propose solutions by presenting data and conclusions in a clear and concise manner
Country programs
• Develop effective relationships with external vendors/consultants and manage timely and cost-effective delivery of solutions
• Oversee local variable pay plans including proposal of performance-based incentive plans, review and consolidation of participation and results in collaboration with Corporate
• Design local compensation/benefits programs or policies in coordination with the TR Innovation Center and country, and escalate legal, compliance, and tax risk associated with benefits design and administration
• Helps to ensure statutory compliance in coordination with HR Solutions & BU HR by providing advice and input
Market intelligence
• Evaluate job content and formulate recommendations for band level, title and/or pay based on responsibilities, internal equity and market competitiveness for complex scenarios
• Partner with HR Solutions to validate appropriate local surveys for direct labor
• Partner with the Global Compensation team to identify appropriate surveys to ensure the best available survey library. Validate approach to global and local market matching in global database
• Initiate and complete specialized analysis on market and internal practices, strategies and metrics such as monetary recognition programs and incentives
• Collaborate with Global Compensation team on researching, evaluating and understanding the impact of market and economic trends and recommend adjustments to salary ranges, hiring rates, geographic differentials, salary increase budgets and individual rates, as requested
• Maintain total rewards inventory for countries
Corporate/BU programs
• contribute to the design and improvement of policies and processes in areas like incentive programs, benchmarking, job grading, salary management, company cars and sales compensation programs
• Assist in timely implementation of programs and TR calendar (e.g. annual merit round)
• Provide local input related to the HR systems and compensation planning
• In coordination with Global Compensation team, support pay-for-performance philosophy by developing and providing the right tools to HR/management for employees in scope
• Pro-actively drive line manager, HRBP and HR Solutions' education for TR topics

What your background should look like:

• 7+ years demonstrated global compensation and benefits analysis, design, and administration experience required; consulting experience preferred; experience in emerging markets
• Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze statistical data and develop crisp and focused recommendations for BU/HR leadership
• Collaborative team player with strong influencing skills
• Energetic, entrepreneurial, and innovative
• A self-starter, thinks creatively and works independently to resolve issues
• Uses positive attitude and energy to work in a fast paced, target driven environment while performing well under time constraints and clear deadlines
• Excellent communication and presentations skills, comfortable working with diverse cultures and different management levels, ability to quickly build relationships in a matrixed organization
• Experience in benefits plan design and administration
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Psychology or Human Resources
• Fluent in English, proficiency in other languages considered a plus
