Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Shipping & Receiving Teams perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties. They use computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting incoming and outgoing shipments. They follow shipping practices and procedures, transportation routing, schedules and requirements. The Shipping & Receiving Teams receive incoming materials and prepare materials for shipment. They process freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents. They also route merchandise to destinations.

Responsibilities:
• Liable for the overall warehouse and logistics operations including receiving, warehousing/inventory control, pick-pack-ship, and distribution of raw material, components, supplies, and finished goods inventory.
• Manages daily site logistics operations, processes, workflows, and escalation through proactive interaction with key stakeholders including production, planning, order fulfilment, materials management, and other supply chain teams.
• Maintain inventory accuracy with appropriate materials transactions and effective communication schedules release data or all other logistics/materials requirement information to buyers, planners, manufacturing, and relevant teams.
• Maintains a high standard of warehouse housekeeping/sanitation, supporting a lean work environment by promoting and delivers continuous improvement processes and programs.
• Administers and accountable for government import & export customs policies, tools, statistical reporting and compliancy to governmental classification & regulatory licensing requirements.
• Accountable to monitor and approve site logistics spend involving freight payment.
• Plan and organize daily or near-term workload to maximize productivity and on time delivery target while supporting the broader organization.
• Collaborates and coordinates with inter-departmental to meet or exceed all KPIs, goals, and objectives.
• Site focal point on escalations involving transportation, warehousing, brokerage operations, and packaging, and crating issue resolution.
• You are responsible to ensure a safe working environment by keeping track of work areas, equipment and tools such as PPE are correctly used.
• Oversee direct reports career growth and development by leading, developing and mentoring, as a contribution to support the development of a strong leadership team and warehouse operation.
• Effective communication with all levels of leadership; internally and externally (customer & vendors).

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred with Logistics or related courses.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years' Warehouse Management and Logistics supervisory experiences in manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated leading experience of a warehouse that includes successfully driving a site warehouse's physical inventory, cycle counts and companywide stock take.
• Experience in leading warehouse in supporting production e.g. like receiving, kitting, outgoing and material handling.
• Experience in leading operational teams involved receiving, warehousing/inventory management, and distribution of materials, supplies, components, equipment, and finished goods.
• Understand warehouse and material handling operational discipline principles and techniques involving warehouse layout, picking, inventory counting, variance resolution and discrepant receipt management.
• Strong leadership and people management.
• Knowledge in WMS, ERP and Microsoft office (especially excel).
• Ability to manage individual contributors (internal and external) performing site logistics operations.
• Fluent in English language and primary local language (written and verbal).
