Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technology Strategy and Transformation Leader to drive the strategic transformation of our procurement systems and technologies across our global operations. This role will focus on optimizing procurement processes through innovative solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and driving efficiencies in sourcing and supplier management.

The qualified individual will be part of the Transformation & Strategy Team within Global Procurement.
He/she will ensure support the overall Global Transformation Strategy, while securing proper alignment with both IT and Digital Procurement groups.

The Technology Strategy and Transformation Leader will be expected to:
• Defined and execute systems strategies that aligns with Transformation & Strategy objectives, focusing on the integration of advanced systems and technologies.
• Oversee the deployment of technological initiatives pertaining to the existing and new procurement systems (e.g., Regrello, RPA, SnoW, SAP/S4 items) to streamline processes and enhance data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, the rest of Procurement, Legal, Finance, to ensure successful system integration and user adoption.
• Analyze current procurement processes and identify areas for improvement through technology solutions, aiming to reduce costs and cycle times.
• Lead change management initiatives to facilitate the adoption of new systems and processes within the procurement team and broader organization.
• Develop and deliver training programs to equip procurement teams with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively utilize new systems.
• Establish metrics to assess the effectiveness of procurement transformations and report on progress to senior management.
• Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in procurement to continually enhance system capabilities.

What your background should look like:

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor level degree in Business, Procurement, Finance or related field. Advanced degree a plus.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related fields, with a focus on systems and technology transformation.
• Proven experience in implementing procurement systems and technologies at a global scale.
• Strong project management skills, with a track record of leading cross-functional teams through complex transformations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Familiarity with procurement software solutions and emerging technologies (e.g., AI, machine learning, blockchain) is a plus.
• PMI, Six Sigma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills. English language skills in speech and writing.
• Ability to speak persuasively in front of a large audience which may include management to the executive level.
• Self-motivated individual with a positive attitude, able to work well with international teams and individuals, not afraid to push for change, but humble in approach.
• Global time zone flexibility and the ability to travel as required.
• Proven ability as a project leader with experience managing large dollar projects/programs.
• Education: Bachelor level degree in Business, Procurement, Finance or related field. Advanced degree a plus.
