Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Strategic Sourcing Teams develop and implement multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. They align strategy and execution with cross-functional partners such as engineering, manufacturing, product management and functional owners. They execute the competitive bid, negotiation, contracting processes and/or technical continuous improvement for assigned commodities or services; collaborate across Business Units and cross-regions for optimal TE leverage. Our teams demonstrate a high level of expertise in procurement competencies (business/supply chain acumen, negotiation, sourcing strategy development and execution, global savvy, and project and product lifecycle management) and ensure results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Job responsibility:
1. Responsible for operation related indirect procurement in China (18 plants) . Develop and maintain relationship with internal and external customers, ensuring TE receives the best value for goods and services.
2. Lead QBR review with BU operation leaders to identify BU needs in China and delivery the procurement strategy and result to support business growth.
3. Focus on safety, pipeline management, complexity reduction, data driven decision making, supplier consolidation, incremental minority spend and long term strategic supplier relationships.
4. Lead MRO and facility commodity strategies and work with other regional commodity managers to deploy strategy throughout China
5. Drive efficiency and compliance improvement according to Source-to-Pay process.
6. Develop team members and drive a safe, fair and productive working environment.

Requirements:
1. Demonstrated procurement competencies (business acumen, negotiation, sourcing strategy, project management) and capability to work independently on multiple assignments.
2. Experience of managing indirect procurement in manufacturing companies with multiple locations.
3. Minimal 5 years team management experience
4. Can-do attitude, willing to make changes and innovations.
5. Strong ability to get consensus among function leaders and obtain the best solutions for TE.
6. English and mandarin are required, other languages will be beneficial
