Job Overview
In order to drive efficient back-office operations, our company wants to establish regional shared service centers to support centralized processing of selected procurement functions such as PR/PO processing, compliance checks, supplier set-up/change requests, procurement helpdesk, invoice price issue resolutions, etc. The Regional Procurement Team Leader will ensure a smooth transition is organized and managed from the current staff to the to-be-hired team members. He/she will also take part in the selection process of all resources required for the set-up of the future team in Alabang, Philippines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate and drive knowledge transfer activities for the region in-scope during Transformation.
- Manage Procurement teams. Ensure quality and efficiency of work produced. Hold regular meetings, coach and mentor the team, and recognize key employees.
- Be a Subject Matter Expert for Indirect Procurement related topics.
- Support migration of Procurement processes from regional locations to Alabang.
- Ensure proper processing of PR/PO's. Maintain communication with vendors and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with audit, tax, and other requirements of the local markets or the company.
- Coordinate all procurement activities and reporting.
- Coordinate with local business owners, function representatives, or other procurement team members to identify and address any unresolved issues in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain scorecards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to manage the performance of the department as per the Global Governance Model.
- Innovate through process optimization and automation.
- Appropriately manage and escalate issues.
- Perform regular performance evaluations of staff members.
- Identify and contribute to continuous improvement and change initiatives within the function, ensuring that improvements are incorporated into the work routine. Form a strong collaborative relationship with Global Teams.
Qualifications:
- Strong SME Experience in Indirect Procurement (7+ years).
- Previous team leader or team management experience in a shared service environment.
- International exposure.
- Proficient in MS Office; advanced Excel, Powerpoint, and other relevant tools for the function.
- SAP PR2, S/4.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Very good English language skills in speech and writing + command of other languages.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Diversified Industrial Products/Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
