Job Overview
The Kilovac Growth Engineering group develops various High Voltage DC power switching devices and associated power distribution equipment for a wide variety of applications. As part of this group, the candidate will primarily perform Mechanical Engineering tasks under the supervision of the Engineering Manager. The candidate will also be required to collaborate on a wider range of tasks, including, but not limited to, production support, test equipment development and support, and new product industrialization. The successful candidate should be able take on a wide range of tasks such as mechanical design, and basic electrical and mechanical testing all while working independently.

Responsibilities
- Meeting with the product engineers to determine product testing parameters.
- Conducting quality assurance and designing performance tests using the new testing procedures.
- Troubleshooting any errors and streamlining the testing procedures.
- Ensuring all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards.
- Preparing test reports for management.
- Travel: < 10%.
What your background should look like:
- BS Degree in Engineering or Science, 3+ years' experience related to primary job function, Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Experience with software such as Creo, AutoCAD, Space Claim, Altium, and LabVIEW desirable.
- Familiarity with 270Vdc and 1000Vdc applications desirable.
- Ability to maintain focus and complete tasks independently and on time.
- Effective communication and presentation skills required.
- This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $97,200 - $145,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
