Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Material Handler Teams perform the physical and/or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. They unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintain records of received goods and reject unsatisfactory items. They lift heavy items and may operate a forklift. Material Handlers prepare and maintain records of shipments, post weights and shipping charges and prepare goods for final shipment. They examine, stock and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines and may prepare kitting packages for assembly production.

  • Kitting production jobs and returning raw materials to inventory using the SAP ERP system.
  • Handling packaging and receiving tasks as required; staging material in designated areas or racks.
  • Locating and verifying materials and supplies according to production orders.
  • Processing stock transfers and material requests.
  • Maintaining inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials in stock; reporting shortages.
  • Ensuring inventory accuracy through cycle counts.
  • Lifting heavy items using a pallet jack.
  • Completing data entry tasks using the SAP ERP system.
  • Preparing outgoing materials for shipping; completing necessary paperwork such as packing slips and shipping sheets.
  • Assisting with inventory maintenance in PSA through bin audits and investigating variances.
  • Supporting cycle counting and physical inventory efforts.
  • Processing picks for kitting as needed.
  • Performing general housekeeping of the work area.
  • Executing other assigned duties as needed.

What your background should look like:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong keyboarding and computer skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work to successfully accomplish job duties.
  • Schedule flexibility.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment preferred.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $34,400 - 51,600 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
