Strategic Overview
- In partnership with legal, operations, and BU HR Regional and Business partners, develop overall Labor Strategy for the United States encompassing multiple industrial and supply chain/warehouse sites.
- Benchmark strategy with internal (across countries/ regions) and external.
- Develop custom action plans for each of the US sites.
- Develop and deliver training for both HR and Ops leaders according to action plans
- Apply TEOA/ Continuous Improvement to review and improve plans, and implement a mentality of continuous improvement.
- Present strategy/ plans/ developments/ to leadership both in HR and Operations.
- Create and maintain dashboards to monitor strategy implementation and action plans.
- Develop KPIs and track progress against plans.
M&A
- Represent HR in the due diligence process, this position is the subject matter expert in labor/union relations and will be responsible for assessing contracts, labor issues, and risks.
- Develop a custom integration plan for the deal, focusing on union relations, aligned to the overall TE HR Strategy and Labor Strategy.
Day-to-Day Job Overview

- Create and review policies and practices that enhance employee relations, ensuring they align with best practices
- Design and implement training programs for management on effective communication, conflict resolution, and employee engagement.
Short Description
- Develop and execute labor relations strategies that promote a positive workplace environment and encourage open communication between management and employees.
- Conduct regular assessments of the workplace environment, including monitoring employee sentiment and identifying areas for improvement.
- Conduct focus groups, develop action plans, reporting and KPIs, and build dashboards.
- Present plans, actions, and strategies to senior leadership, ability to translate complex problems into an executive summary, inform leadership, receive feedback, fast correcting the course of action considering both feedback and dynamic change in scenarios.
- Work with TEOA's continuous improvement methodology, partner with other labor relations managers in the region and globally to create a regional standard, experienced in adopting best practices, understand benchmarking, adjust, and adapt plans to local reality.
- Develop and implement strategies to address workplace concerns as they arise, fostering a culture of transparency and support.
- Participate in contract negotiations, including the development of proposals and bargaining strategies.
- Represent the company in meetings and negotiations with union leaders and other representatives.
- Annual Negotiation, Prepare the negotiation strategy, administrate the Budget for the negotiation, ensure law compliance, and lead the negotiations.
- Willingness to perform other duties, aligned with your role, as assigned by your manager.
What your background should look like:
- Have received a BA/BS Degree in a related Major or Human Resources from an accredited college or university or have an equivalent work history.
- 10+ years of experience.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- ITAR requirements based on a facility.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in labor relations or employee relations.
- Had successfully represented the company in the various stages of the labor process, from initial conversations, campaigns, initial contract negotiations, bargaining, grievances, from day-to-day activities to a full year calendar of related activities.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective employee engagement initiatives.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data related to employee relations and workplace trends.
- Experience in training and coaching management teams on employee relations issues.
- Must have an effective balance between strategic and tactical implementation skills.
- Self-starter, able to work independently under minor supervision.
- Travel as business needs dictate (up to 50%)

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $139,700 - $209,500 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
