Job Overview

• establishing priorities in maintenance schedules.
• Target to achieve maximum availability of equipment and zero production down time.
• Identify opportunities to implement IOT project for Predive & Prescriptive analytics.
• Scheduling and Execution of Preventive & Condition based maintenance.
• Troubleshooting & Diagnosis of day-to-day equipment issues.
• Measure and improve Maintenance KPIs - MTBF, MTTR, OEE, NEE, Availability, Ontime PM execution.
• Conduct RCA for all the equipment down times and implement containment/Preventive actions.
• Participate in PIM and Collaborate with CFT to provide solutions to barriers and eliminate.
• Upgrade/Modify the Equipment/Processes to latest sustainable technologies and qualify as per TE guidelines.
• Implement Smart manufacturing and Cyber security initiatives.
• Involve during Equipment/Line design to build robust Equipment/Processes.
• Spare part management - BOM creation/VED Analysis/Inventory.
• Training document preparation Plan and execute AMC, External & subcontracted services.
• Adhere to QMS, EMS and OSHAS guidelines and update the records.
• Upkeep the maintenance records in SAP and other CMMS.
• Responsible for SAFE compliances and achieving the KPI.
• Performs routine and preventive maintenance at facilities and on manufacturing machinery for assigned area(s) including physical building(s), process, and support equipment.
• Diagnoses and resolves electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment issues to minimize production downtime and process waste, requiring knowledge of systems to run sophisticated plant machinery.
• Completes all work orders, preventive maintenance sheets, and repair logs and related documents to reflect work performed.
• At higher levels, may provide technical support and training to maintenance and engineering department staff
• Develop technical competency for Maintenance team.

Education and Knowledge

• Diploma/BE (Mechatronics / Electrical and Electronics Engineering)
• Knowledge in Smart manufacturing and IOT, PLC and Automation
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, TS16949, AS9100 & ISO 14001:2015
• Hindi, English and Kannada preferably

Critical Experience

• 03+ years of relevant work experience in Automotive, Industrial & Aerospace Connector Manufacturing Industry.
• Technical and manufacturing knowledge of commodities such as Machining, Plating, Molding, Stamping, Assembly, tool rom machines and equipment maintenance etc.
• Hands on experience in PLC/HMI and LabVIEW programming and Data Base Management
• Advanced skills and Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word & Power point
• Configuration & Programming Experience in Scanners, Vision Systems, Label Printers and label design software
• Strong organizational skills including but not limited to the ability to handle multiple demands and assignments in parallel, the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently
• Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and develop action plans to strategically eliminate waste
• Knowledge on SAP PP will be added advantage.
• Quality Management System knowledge.
